From the Desk of the President

‘You be your own Light’ is a profound statement which comes from our Vedas & Upanishads.

As most of you are aware that this was the wisdom given by Lord Buddha also Swami Vivekananda and was very dear to Mahatma Gandhi.

The school is a place where education is imparted to children; this is true but not the complete truth. It is also a place where students are encouraged to be learners for the rest of their lives; for nobody stops learning in this world.

We sincerely hope that those who enter the portals of schools, run by Baroda Lions Club Education Trust, are guided by the light that has been ignited in their hearts. They need to look inwards to constantly take energy from this source which will guide them to stay on the path of dignity, honesty and humility, avoiding greed and lust. Always remaining compassionate.
